Las Patronas, a philanthropic organization committed to providing financial assistance enhancing the quality of life in our community, has generously given ALBION 12 Foundation a grant for ALBION SC to purchase much needed lighting for our fields. In this regard, the grant has been applied to purchase three light towers, which we will now no longer need to rent. The ALBION 12 Foundation looks forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership moving forward, as we work together to support the youth of San Diego. Through ALBION 12 Foundation, Play It Safe (Self-defense Strategies for Women & Children), offered a self-defense strategies and training class to the ALBION SC GA players! Led by Tracie Arlington, the girls received the best and most practical self-defense techniques for realistic assault situations. A huge part of self-defense is awareness, and we’re pleased to make it more available for our players.
ALBION 12 Foundation supports ALBION SC by improving its coaches performance in strengthening their leadership skills. With this purpose, ALBION 12 Foundation hosts every year a Leadership Luncheon for ALBION SC Staff for the leadership/staff building the future. Last year, October of 2021, in addition to ALBION SC workshops, ALBION 12 Foundation brought a special motivational speaker, Lex Gillette.
