ALBION 12 Foundation Award for Excellence in Leadership

The ALBION 12 Foundation is proud to announce our 2021 application process for our Excellence in Leadership Awards. The Foundation will award 2 applicants, one female and one male with a $1000 scholarship, and recognition of outstanding examples of leadership. This award serves to assist with collegiate applications, and also to reward the finalists with recognition of their superb efforts in the area of leadership.

  • REQUIREMENTS: Current ALBION SC Player, in good standing on their respective team. Currently enrolled in High School as a Junior or Senior.
  • AMOUNT OF AWARD: $1000
  • GPA: Minimum 3.0
  • ESSAY REQUIREMENT: Describe your specific personal experiences in leadership, and then describe more generally, how teenagers can lead in their environment, in an ever increasingly complex world for young people. Describe how YOU have interacted and have contributed positively in your family and community/school environment.* (Length: Maximum of 1000 words)

*Award winners’ essays may be posted on the ALBION 12 Foundation website, and finalists may be asked to provide a short video sharing their view points, which the Foundation may post on its website.

The ALBION 12 Foundation is proud to announce our 2021 application process for our Academic Excellence Awards. The Foundation will award 2 applicants, one male and one female with a $1000 scholarship, and recognition of outstanding examples of academic achievement. This award serves to assist with collegiate applications, and also to reward the finalists with recognition of their superb efforts in the classroom.

  • REQUIREMENTS: Current ALBION SC Player, in good standing on their respective team. Currently enrolled in High School as a Junior or Senior.
  • AMOUNT OF AWARD: $1000
  • GPA: Minimum 4.0
  • ESSAY REQUIREMENT: Describe how you integrated your academic life, with your athletic life. Be specific on the benefits of academic achievement to an athlete’s present, and future success in both the classroom and on the field.* (Length: Maximum of 1000 words)

*Award winners’ essays may be posted on the ALBION 12 Foundation website, and finalists may be asked to provide a short video sharing their view points, which the Foundation may post on its website.
