THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

On behalf of all our ALBION Nation, our thank you to the ones who are putting themselves at risk and keeping us safe!

Our ALBION SC San Diego G08 Michal-Lynn O’Kelley’s team gathered goodies and notes of encouragement & inspiration and delivered to the workers at the Scripps Memorial Hospital, in a gesture of appreciation and gratitude!

And our coach Jorge Garcia and his ALBIO SC B06 DA team wrote notes and put together some really nice care packages for UCSD Medical Center. Here is the message they received back from the doctors and nurses:
“Thank you to Coach Jorge Garcia and the boys and families of ALBION 2006 Boys DA team! The snacks were awesome and much appreciated by all the staff of Jacobs Medical Center 3GH ICU! Thank you all for staying at home and doing your part to fight this disease! We hope we can get you all safely back on the field again soon!”

ALBION SC SERIES OF PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINARS

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Dear Friends of the Foundation

Following the guidelines set by the state and county of San Diego and with concerned caution for members of the public and our players and families, the fields, games and practices for ALBION SC have been temporarily postponed. However, Albion 12 Foundation mission continues.

In alignment with our mission of leadership and life development, we are offering free online seminars for players, family and those interested in how we support our youth. Community development, life skills and mental resiliency are still essential in these challenging times. We hope this inspires everyone while staying safe at home.

Sincerely,

Albion Super Raffle 2019

Help the Cause.

Peninsula Soccer League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, dba Albion SC, operating as a competitive and recreational youth soccer organization. The Club provides additional scholarships and opportunities to hundreds of young athletes who could not otherwise afford to compete at such a high level in youth soccer. Additionally, Albion SC partners with other organizations to improve community and city assets, present player life programing, and other benefits to our membership.

To facilitate, supplement, and help sustain our operations and mission, Albion SC hosts a Clubwide Raffle each year. The Albion SC Super Raffle is the most important fundraiser of the year for the organization. The proceeds have remained part the operating budget for many years and serves the club in helping with the various operational needs of the organization. It is also a great opportunity for each Albion SC team to raise upwards of $2,000 – $6,000 for team use, and for each player to learn and take personal ownership in their team’s success.

We are pleased to invite you to attend the Albion 12 Foundation’s Golf Tournament.

Albion 12 Foundation brings the concept of the 12th player to Albion SC. The Foundation provides a means by which existing members, parents, alumni, and outside organizations, can directly confer a benefit upon athletes and causes worthy of attention. The Albion 12 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation, dedicated solely to the funding of Youth Soccer Scholarships, Life Programming, and Facility Development/Operations for Albion SC. The Albion 12 Foundation’s primary mission is to recognize and support those youth athletes who demonstrate outstanding scholastic and leadership potential, or who demonstrate a compelling financial need to continue participation in Albion SC’s youth soccer program.

Join us at the Albion 12 Foundations Golf Tournament at Riverwalk Golf Course on Friday, November 11th.  This is an excellent way to support the Foundation while having a brilliant day on the course supporting our youth players, followed by a closing reception.   Additionally, following the day on the course, the Albion SC $10,000 Raffle winner will be drawn!

Light up the Night

By | News | No Comments

The need for new portable lights at Robb Field and our other venues is critical, given that existing light towers are 15 years old, failing, require constant repairs, and lack the lighting capacity present with newer equipment. We desire to put more lights at these fields to better illuminate the complex during these winter months, to enhance our training experience, increase player safety, provide flexibility, and reduce operational costs. These new towers would benefit the Club for the next 15-20 years. We need five new towers, each at a cost of approximately $12,000. Thank you for any support you can contribute to this needed cause.
